these people changed my life.

really. long story short.

mom & dad came to my church when i was in junior high and they taught me about Jesus.

i saw how they handled life in way that encouraged me to want to know HIM more. 

she taught me how to use puff paint, he spoke at my baccalaureate ceremony, i baby sat the big one, and the little one captured my heart the moment i saw her. 

he is the pastor at THIS church and is an author of THIS book. she is a dear friend. the big one is the high school mascot with my oldest dude. and the young one is silly and beautiful.

love that they are STILL in my life all of these years later.

these are new precious friends to our family. we love them. 

they met on a golf course...i'm pretty sure she can kick his rear out there. :)

they are darling and fun and crack me up.

oh mercy...

so, not to sound like many other "bloggers" that are actually "blog slackers" BUT... i am the worst "blogger"/best "blog slacker" ever. it is not for lack of things to say or show, but actually, because there is SO much to "show and tell" that i get overwhelmed and then just keep it all in my head...which is a scary place- trust me.

HOWEVER, i digress...

now that we are well into 2012, i figure it's time to begin to implement some of my resolutions...ones that i am not ready to share with you, for fear i may slack again and then you would REALLY know how severely a.d.d. i am. but rest assured -or not- i am working on them and plan on sharing soon...or not.

first on my list, is to pretend like i am michael j fox and go back in time, to catch you up on some of the super awesome, fun Gypsy Heart peeps that you haven't seen yet! i have been humbled by the stories that i get to hear about these people. amazed how God is actively moving in their lives. they inspire me. really...

so sit and wait by the blog for all the new stories that you get to see.

phil & rachel

 i. love. these. two.

     this session was at the church where rachel and phil met. he is a youth pastor and she helps mentor teenage girls- they met at a youth event just last year...and now they will be getting married at the same place they met! i LOVE their story. and they are funny. they were up for an adventure and just went with the flow. 

i am crazy for the story behind this shoot and i SO hope that you can "feel the love" 

 seriously...i love this.

the light makes me super happy.

  the entire session, they giggled and "quoted" song of solomon- sort of...

it was hilarious- probably had to be there, but trust me, it was hilarious.

 this is the very place they will get married- it was fun to hear them chat about the 

big day and all their dreams. 

they were soaking in the moment. 

so sweet.

 and here...they are praying over their future, asking God to bless their marriage, their families,

and more. it was one of THE most precious moments i have ever been a part of. 

*sigh*

 THIS is  one of my faves!

 you haven't had a successful shoot, until you have called security and recruited a friend

to help up climb up the hatch to the roof of a mega church.
